Sous Chef for Húsagarð
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our brilliant kitchen team at Hotel Brandan.
Hotel Brandan is a green four-star superior hotel and in the kitchen our chefs draw inspiration from Nordic cuisine.
As Sous Chef you will together with the Head Chef be responsible for the daily work in the kitchen. You will develop, quality assure and create unique menus for parties and our in-house restaurant Húsagarður. Also, it will be your responsibility to greet new staff, inspire, teach them, and ensure a positive work environment.
You have an education from Culinary School, relevant experience and are used to working broadly with various menus.
You are capable of inspiring good teamwork and can ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization. As part of the management team, it is important that you take responsibility and can inspire your colleges.
You will be part of a competent and eager management team who wishes to give our guests a good food experience. Also, you will get the opportunity to put your signature on the menu. We offer a progressive and informal environment where we value good unity.
Hotel Brandan is part of the Smyril Line co-operation, and you will have many great chefs as your colleges. We will do our best to ensure that you will succeed in your job.
